Zyphra trained its ZAYA1-8B reasoning model from scratch on a full-stack AMD platform.

According to Quentin Anthony, VP of AI Engineering at Zyphra, access to open software libraries and direct collaboration with AMD enabled the team to train larger models while keeping compute resources operating efficiently. AMD shared deployment details in a case overview.
